چکیده

Digitalization of agriculture bring controllable industrial production and computer-aided design ideas into agriculture, NURBS curves and surfaces is described freedom of widely popular technology, CAD systems are widely used. Method can be easily applied to generate curves, surfaces with NURBS. In this paper, we have developed model of cotton organs using NURBS surface, present a introduction of Topological Structures on virtual plant from our personal perspective and simulated a 3-D growing of cotton with OpenGL and VC++ 6.0.briefly introduce method of simulating cotton organ based on NURBS and from our personal perspective present a introduction of Topological Structures on virtual plant. Based on VC++6.0 and OpenGL, methods of establishing models of main cotton organ using techniques of computer graphics are presented and realistic results have been achieved. Burls of stem and fruit branches are simulated by octahedronlike prism. Other organs are built based on NURBS. These organs are: bell、caulis leaf、fruit branch leaf、Petal、bract. Using NURBS we don’ t need to obtain an abundance of accurate data and bother with regression equation by contrast with three-dimensional digital. Topological Structures of cotton is represented by C++ class: stem class and fruit branch class. Key-Words: NURBS, OpenGL, C++, Cotton, Topological structures

Hierarchical D-NURBS Surfaces and Their Physics-Based Sculpting

In this paper, we present Hierarchical D-NURBS as a new shape modeling representation that generalizes powerful, physics-based D-NURBS for interactive geometric design. Our Hierarchical D-NURBS can be viewed as a collection of standard D-NURBS finite elements, organized hierarchically in a tree structure and subject to continuity constraints across the shared boundaries of adjacent D-NURBS elem...

Local and Global Approaches to Fracture Mechanics Using Isogeometric Analysis Method

The present research investigates the implementations of different computational geometry technologies in isogeometric analysis framework for computational fracture mechanics. NURBS and T-splines are two different computational geometry technologies which are studied in this work. Among the features of B-spline basis functions, the possibility of enhancing a B-spline basis with discontinuities ...

Direct boolean intersection between acquired and designed geometry

In this paper, a new shape modeling approach that can enable direct Boolean intersection between acquired and designed geometry without model conversion is presented. At its core is a new method that enables direct intersection and Boolean operations between designed geometry (objects bounded by NURBS and polygonal surfaces) and scanned geometry (objects represented by point cloud data). We use...

Isogeometric-Based Modeling and Analysis of Laminated Composite Plates Under Transverse Loading

Analysis of the laminated composite plates under transverse loading is considered using the new method of Isogeometric Analysis (IGA). Non-Uniform Rational B-Splines(NURBS)are used as shape functions for modeling the geometry of the structure and also are used as shape functions in the analysis process. To show robustness of the new technique, some examples are represented and are compared with...
